See the Return Policy That Applied to Your Order
At a store showing WeRefund Verified ✓, the return policy was checked automatically, and every order keeps the version published when it was placed. The record is free.
What the badge means
- Checked automatically
WeRefund read the store's published return policy and checked that it exists, is clear and gives at least the return window the store chose: 14, 30 or 60 days from delivery.
- Monitored
The policy is re-checked when it changes. If a new version does not pass, verification becomes unavailable.
- Recorded for each order
Every order keeps the policy version published when it was placed, in a WeRefund Policy Record.
The badge shows no number: the exact terms stay in the store's policy, and you see your real deadline after the purchase.
Your Policy Record, free
Every order at a Verified store gets a WeRefund Policy Record, free for the shopper. You find it in a WeRefund dashboard.
- The policy of the day — the version published at the time of purchase.
- Your deadline — the return deadline, counted from delivery.
- The record — the order and the purchase date, kept on file.
The WeRefund option
Optional, never pre-ticked, and paid only by the shopper who adds it: one fixed fee with the order, set by the order value. It buys a service — never a promise of refund.
- An email after purchase
- Reminders before your deadline
- Help with your return request
- Follow-up on the refund
| Order value | Option fee |
|---|---|
| $0 – $49 | $0.99 |
| $50 – $99 | $1.49 |
| $100 – $199 | $1.99 |
| $200 – $399 | $2.99 |
| $400 – $749 | $3.99 |
| $750 and above | $4.99 maximum |
For example, on a $148 order the option costs $1.99. You pay it with your order, through the store's own payment provider. Shoppers who do not add it pay nothing.
What WeRefund is not
The store you bought from stays your seller, and the refund stays its decision.

How to request a return
A return is always requested from the store, and decided by the store.
- Check your deadlineYour Policy Record shows the policy that applied to your order and your return deadline.
- Ask the storeRequest the return from the store, under its policy. With the WeRefund option, you get help with the return request.
- The store decides and refundsIf the store refunds, it does so through its own payment provider. WeRefund reads the refund, and your order shows “refund issued”.
