No. WeRefund takes no cut of your sales or your refunds: its only revenue is the option fee shoppers choose to add. It never holds your customers' payment funds: your payment provider moves the money. WeRefund reads orders and refund events so each order is recorded with its policy.

Nothing, unless they add the WeRefund option. Every buyer of a Verified store gets, free, the WeRefund Policy Record of each order: the policy version published at the time of purchase, the order, the purchase date and the return deadline, kept on file. The option — an email after purchase and reminders, help with the return, one file for every order and the refund followed — costs a fixed fee by order value, $0.99 to $4.99. It is opt-in, never pre-ticked, and paid only by the shopper who adds it.

No. Returns and refunds stay between you and your shopper, under your own terms of sale. The option buys a service, never a promise of refund: WeRefund never pays a shopper, never funds a refund and never refunds in your place.

Store platforms: Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, PrestaShop, BigCommerce, Wix, and custom or headless stores through the API. Payment providers: Stripe, PayPal, Adyen, Checkout.com and Airwallex.

With the order, through your own payment provider: the shopper pays for the order and the option in the same payment, and both reach you as usual. WeRefund never holds your customers' payment funds. It tracks every WeRefund transaction through API and webhook events, and keeps a ledger for your store.

Automatically, twice a month. Orders placed from the 1st to the 15th are settled around the 16th; orders from the 16th to the end of the month, around the 1st of the next month. The net amount owed to WeRefund is debited from the bank account or payment method you registered.

One statement per period: the number of WeRefund transactions, the fees collected, refunds or cancellations if any, partner revenue share if any, and the net amount owed to WeRefund. There is no revenue share by default: it applies only to Founding Partners, under their own agreement.
