For every order, WeRefund keeps the version of your return policy that was published at verso.com/returns at the time of purchase — HTML, PDF, capture, SHA-256 and a WeRefund signature. The shopper keeps it for free.

WeRefund reads your page; it never writes it, and never publishes your text. A shopper sees the version of their own order in their dashboard — nobody sees this list but you.

What a record is — and is not

It is what was published at your policy URL when the payment completed: merchant, URL, date and time in UTC, order and transaction, return window, version, SHA-256 and a WeRefund signature.

It is not what the shopper saw or accepted, and it does not change your contract of sale: the terms stay yours.

The link a shopper can share (with their bank, in a dispute) proves the record — merchant, date, SHA-256, version, signature — without ever showing your text.
