WeRefund

Return requests

Sent by shoppers who added the WeRefund option to their order. The decision on each return is yours: you accept it with your return address, or you close it with its issue.

How a request moves

  1. RequestedThe shopper names the items, a reason and opens the conversation.
  2. AcceptedYou accept with your return address, from Settings → Returns.
  3. In transitThe shopper picks the carrier and adds the tracking.
  4. ReceivedReported delivered by UPS, FedEx, DHL or Royal Mail — or declared by you for USPS and other carriers.

The 30 days before “No response” start when the carrier reports the parcel delivered (UPS, FedEx, DHL, Royal Mail), or when the shopper adds a USPS or other tracking. Nothing runs before that.

WeRefund buys no label, books no pickup and receives no parcel: it records what you and the shopper declare, and reads what the carrier reports.

Closing is your only change of state. A refund you make in Stripe is read by WeRefund; when it covers the items requested, it closes the request on its own as “Refund issued”.

Issue

Closing is the only change of state, and it cannot be undone. The shopper gets an e-mail with a link to the request, and can then review the return — whatever the issue.
